Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position as a Bilingual Associate Attorney based in Draper, UT. The role involves providing legal counsel, conducting research, offering legal advice, negotiating settlements, representing clients in legal proceedings, and ensuring that clients receive full and fair compensation. Additionally, the role requires fluent communication in both English and Spanish to effectively assist a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Interview prospective clients and evaluate new cases
  • Maintain case files and guide clients through every stage of the personal injury process
  • Prepare demand packages and negotiate settlements with insurance carriers
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other court-related documents
  • Manage all aspects of discovery and ensure deadlines are met
  • Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, court appearances, and trial
  • Conduct effective legal research and produce well-reasoned motion drafting

Qualifications

  • Current member in good standing of the Utah State Bar
  • 3–5 years of litigation experience handling personal injury cases
  • Strong knowledge and application of Law
  • Ability to provide clear and effective legal advice to clients
  • Proficient in conducting thorough legal research
  • Skilled in negotiation and settlement discussions
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required
  • Demonstrated ability to handle cases effectively and professionally
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Competent computer and word-processing skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet appropriate deadlines
